TELLING STORIES OF

LOVE

*C* | Los Angeles Family Photographer

You know those families that you photograph for years and the sessions become just like catching up with old friends? The ones that just feel fun, that you really look forward to as you see their session creep up on your calendar? That don’t even feel much like work, since you’re so busy giggling, tickling, running and shoving flowers in your hair? This is one of those special families for sure. I photographed Giuliana’s newborn session in 2012, and have been taking pictures of these sweet faces ever since. As I drove down Kanan towards our beach, I was met with a thick blanket of fog and darkness. Overcast conditions can actually be quite fun to shoot in, as you’re not as limited by the direction and placement of the sun. And I love the mood that weather can give to a session. Mostly shot wide-open for a rich, film-y quality, and I love how these pictures turned out. What can be more beautiful than the love of a mama for her babies?
